Which shocks on rear of lifted Taco?

I recently installed a 2.5" front / 1.5" rear leveling kit on my 01 Taco. I'm very happy with the lift but I need new shocks. I had to sit on my tailgate to get the old shocks back on.

So what shocks do you guys recommend and why? Also if you can include a part number because shocks come in so many different lengths it gets confusing.

I appreciate the offer but I already bought some rough country's. I figure they will hold me over until I do a full OME suspension myself. Thanks again tho.

No problem.

Let me know if you need any help when you get your new OME lift.

Bilstein 5125 series

1.5" - 3" suspension lift (3" max)

BIL BE5-6252-H5 Bilstein Shock **Dvr's side ( 8" )

BIL BE5-6253-H5 Bilstein Shock ** pass. side ( 8 1/2" )

^ they are staggered in length... because the oem mounts are.

* Be sure they have the correctly sized bushings inserted.
as these were originally designed to fit a chevy

I think Wheeler's Off Road sells them with the correctly sized bushing.

Otherwise... they may need be swapped to 1/2" ID hour glass bushings.

WHY ? because they fit oem and work well
