I know many of you are using lift kits and aftermarket wheels and such, but maybe someone will know the answer to this question - I have a 1998 Tacoma, regular cab, 4WD, and up until yesterday, I've had the standard 15" steel wheels. Now, I've got a set of OEM Tacoma alloy wheels, which were sold to me with a set of aftermarket center caps. The center caps fit fine on the rear alloys. But on the front, where the lock/free selector is located, the cap doesn't quite fit right.

Did Toyota intend for the front hubs of the 4WD model to be covered with a center cap, or left open?

Pictures of what I have below:

I would think you could Dremel out the caps you have.

I don't own one, but I think you've hit upon a good suggestion! Thanks.
