That sounds like a PITA, tear apart everything with a light behind it and replace with LED's? What color do you plan on doing? And where does everyone get all the LED bulbs for interior and brake lights etc?

I've done it 2 or 3 times so I can usually get it apart and back together within an hour if I'm hauling ass, but it's normally a half hour longer if I'm farting around

Interior lights I go through superbrightleds.com

Reverse light and soon to be brake light I bought off e-bay HERE

Here's a link to the difference between my stock bulbs and the eBay ones...

+1 on superbrightleds. Gonna get blue top match these beasts.

Let me know how those reverse lights work for you. I've seen 7 watt ones that I've been considering too like these:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/2X-7440-7W-...Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a2d13c0c2&vxp=mtr

So many choices out there without enough info.

Slooooow.... :) I can get my dash apart and the cluster out in about 15 minutes.

I've done it so many times...so...tired...of...doing...it... Last time I didn't even end up with any extra screws.

I'm going to have to take it apart AGAIN because I'm getting some new cluster overlay stickers shortly. I hate messing with the gauge needles. I'm so afraid I'll pop one off or break it. But the white cluster face of the later years looks so much better than the stock black that it's worth it.

I really like them, SO much brighter than the stock bulbs. You can see the differences here in this post: CLICK HERE

I don't have any experience with those bulbs you linked to, so... I no know :notsure:

I just get bungered up when it comes to the heater duct and all the BS on the left hand side of the steering wheel column

I've never dove deep enough to mess with the needles, I'd probably paint them. Stock black looks better on white LED bulbs (what I have) but the 01-04 white control panels look bo$$ with different colored LEDs (green/blue/red)

Bumping this with a question. Where's the easiest spot to tie into the Interior dimmer switch? I wanna try to get my switches wired up tonight

Where are you putting them? Second din? Stock radio used to dim with the gauges, that would probably be your best bet.

I'm gonna add some rear backup lights on my bumper and I was wondering if I could put a switch from otrattw in the blank where some trucks have the airbag switch above the clock and beside the vents. Would this be a good place for one?
