So I only put on like 1/4 inch spacers on my wheels I got and the threads only go on like 8 or so threads is this safe ? its about a 1/4 inch less of threading due to the spacer but it just feels unsafe ? Has anyone had problems with this loosening or falling off, or even worried about this as I am ? or am I just a worry wart lol, I did torch to 90fp but still just wondering about this as I may just take them off. and see if it rubs the calipers. I allso put them on the rear drums to even things out.

You'll need to use ET (extended thread) lug nuts...
that may offer enough bite in your case...

    if not.. Here's another option

I bought some of those 1/4" ones and brought them back, it just felt sketch but if you got ET nuts it might get you 3 or 4 more threads

If you get new studs here's an idea for a tool to press them in.
1/2 inch drive 3/4 inch deep socket with drive part cut off, or just section of 3/4 ID pipe. Toyota mag lug nut. I had longer studs when i had american racing wheels, made me feel a LOT safer about the limited threads. Ive heard bad things about et lugs but I've never had them

    These are what I'm using...

60* conical seat, open end, 6 spline (tuner style), ET lug nuts

the extended thread is located in the shank that resides below
    the conical seat. (1st pic)

    * Wheeler's Off Road sells Gorilla brand, tuner (6 spline) ET lug nuts
They are closed end... and available in chrome and black chrome.
They are the only retail business that I have found,
that stocks and sells the black gorilla tuner lug nuts.
But the ever popular black is often on backorder. (just an fyi)

    * There are variables with the shank's diameter and length...
so be sure of your wheel's lug opening size/thickness before ordering.

    * ET type lug nuts are also available for mag wheels

    * ET lug nuts will not fit most steel wheels.

Yeah... but it started with me hoping to get away
with just the ET lug nuts...
but it wasn't as much thread bite as I had hoped.

Most fault lay in the ProComp alloy wheels I have.
The center chunk is measurably thicker then most others

I got a little carried away on the replacement stud length.
but oh well... I think the combo will hold :D

Them are what I should of gotten lol huge lugs and would work perfect. But instead I just grinded off the bit that was rubbing on my caliper. so need for them now anyways. Thanks for the replys and the good ideas;)
