Flowmaster 40 series 2002 tacoma v6

Is flowmaster exaust muffler worth the money? whats the pros and cons of a new muffler? if so, what would i go with, 40 series or 50 series? i have a 2002 tacoma 3.4L automatic

 

I had a 40 series muffler on my 1st gen, but switched to a 14" Magnaflow and like it so much better. Idk if you're set on the Flowmaster but look into Magnaflow as well. I had the 40 two chamber and it was annoying loud and drone sucked so I switched to 18" Magnaflow and like it better.
