Your gonna get the normal stuff.

Get the URD 7th injector kit to upgrade your fuel delivery. Or the 6 injector kit if the 1st gen charger doesn't support the 7th due to EGR reasons.

    Maybe a URD pulley wheel.

Well the URD 7th injector kit is a saftey precaution. The extra power is more of a bonus. The stock fuel sytem often can't keep pace with the SC and it starts to ping. The extra fuel get rid of that.

You should NEVER skip any play it safe mod of whatever your referring too when boosting an engine. Especially a motor not coming boosted to begin with. You will have to keep up even more on maintenance then before to get the most out of it and keeping it safe.

Not really. Just keep the sc and motor well maintained and it'll be fine. Get the extra fuel mods ASAP. That's about it.

For fuel mods, a PNP AEM FIC piggyback controller which has the crucial closed loop tuning o2 scewing feature, can tune live on the fly, data log etc. FIC harness tucked in-
    PNPtuckedaway_bf21cb8ecf427c77148dec9ad22cc4f866ad518c.jpg

Almost put in a custom 7th injector setup-
    Custom7thinjector_d69a82cf10125581ccf0559abcc142bddb8e5038.jpg

But found some drop-in, PNP injectors from a supplier of mine, flow tested and matched. Figured 420cc is plenty for the TRD blower, even with E85. No pics of that install- fail.

Still need to install the 190lph pump...

Put in a huge Hayden tranny cooler pre-OE cooler so the fluid doesn't get overcooled
    Installed_811b62ac7daf59d2282c7e99a79070140dd263cd.jpg

Put water/meth in along with a 2.2 pulley, now the tranny needs more than a cooler, but a valve body upgrade at least.

Didn't like the thought of all that extra blow-by from boost causing oily buildup in the intake system from the PCV system, so put in a Michi core catch can that comes with a bracket making it bolt-on

And it kinda goes on and on. Its a horrible addiction this stuff is...

I wouldn't bother with a full out AEM unless your running Meth injection and the 2.1'' wheel.

By "full out" do you mean standalone? This is a piggyback, and affordable one at that.

I'm a engine management buff so I didn't want the split second/R4 stuff, I saw the specs on the FIC and jumped on it. You can get FICs for about $360 and way cheaper used.

For a tuning novice then kits are a good thing. I wanting to piece mine together and it came along real nice.

URD sends a MAF calibrator with the 7th injector kit.

And I guess if your an auto tranny cooler can't hurt.

I've never heard of a higher capacity tranny pan for this truck, but that would be one way of going about cooling the fluid down.

    tranny cooler a plus.

Upgraded trans valve body recommended by most.

make sure your air filter and intake tubing don't allow anything to get sucked thru.

    thermostat upgrade to 160deg

Where are you guys finding the transmission modifications ?
I did a google search and found 1 shop who offers a valve body update but the $$$$$ he wants is crazy .
    http://www.importperformancetrans.com/a750e.shtml

Can anyone report back on this valve body .
If you look at the valve body , you can adjust the accumulators yourself which in turn would give you firmer shifts .
There are big bore pressure regulators available here but you need a reaming tool . These guys know their stuff

IMO you get what you pay for. You have your uber basic VB "upgrades" that are just solid rods and make the shift painful, then there are stiffer springs, then there is upgrading the clutch packs on top of that, there is machining to change flow, 1-2 shifts etc, then there is modifying torque converters- and some even have aftermarket splines made that are much stronger than OE. I just with IPT or Level 10 were local to me so I wouldn't need to mess with shipping.
