I was parking and the two front tires hit ice. Truck basically slid into the curb. I backed up and tried it again. As the truck was hitting the ice I looked back at the rear tires and they just kept rolling. The brakes were all looked at a shop approximately a month ago. Everything that needed replaced was.

Any one have an idea for this?

I unfortunately did not. I have seen the mod for it. This is the thing that goes on the axle right? And my park break works, but I doubt it would work on a steep hill.

yep, i think that might be your problem, the closer the end of that ting is to the bed, the more power the rear brakes get.
it's really easy to build a bracket, heres mine i made.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/bay-area-metal-fabrication/184065-b-m-f-bpv-relocate-bracket.html

stock size vs my up to 4'' bracket.
[IMG] the valve is located on the rear axle, on the pass. side of the pumpkin.
that little rusted piece bolts up to the axle, and all you have to do is take a piece of metal, drill 2 holes that will bolt up to the axle, and then you want the top of the valve (round thingie) to be raised up the same amount of inches as you lifted the rear.

sorry if that's confusing, i'm bad at explaining stuff.

You need the BPV bracket. IF you can't fab one, grab one of Jerry's at BAMF. not expensive and VERY hefty and versitle.

Unfortunately I don't have spare metal laying around. Probably will do this when I head back home for the break!

How is it to install? Like obviously not the two nuts but the actual valve. Did it help your braking?
Freaking right! I'll take anything I can when that time comes!

besides me punching the axle because of 13 year old nuts, it's easy to do. I've installed 3...each one took roughly 5 minutes to do.

take off 2 nuts holding the bpv on the axle
    install the bracket
install the bpv to the bracket
    done

I noticed improved rear brakes, esp when under load
