2003 Tacoma 4 cylinder help

    When I step on the gas it seem like it just goes. It kind of hard to explain what going on. It a 4 cylinder 2003 tacoma with 115,000 miles.

    well you're gonna need to give more than that. you basically just described what every car on the road does

    Do you mean like there is a delayed kicked when you step on the gas?

    That happens to me. If I floor it, or near floor it, it takes a second before it actually responds to thr pedal/throttle movement.

    kinda that sometimes and maybe i think it might be the throttle body might be stuck

    if you haven't tuned it, try that first. then you mihgt want to check the MAF sensor and clean it. disconnect the battery first!!! very important! while you are at it, look at the throttle valve assy. it might be gummed up. clean it if it is. reassemble and reconnect the batt and see what happens.
