First off, thank you for all the helpful information on this forum!

I am tasked with selling my husband's truck before PCS'ing to Hawaii and am stumped as to what a fair asking price should be. We live in Eastern NC.

It is a silver 2002 SR5 Extended Cab 4x4 with a 4 cylinder engine. It has a manual transmission with 72,000 miles on it. It has a spray-in Rhino liner and a topper. It is in great shape, has been serviced regularly (we have all the records) and has never been in an accident.

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

As described, I would guess that you could get 10 ~ $11,000 for it pretty easily but it depends on your local market.

Clean Retail on NADA.com is $11,725.00 for your truck in that area. Thats probably the lowest a dealer would list it for (after giving ~ 9000.00 for trade-in).

Best of luck with the new deployment.

edit: another option would be to take it to HI and sell it there if the government is willing to transport it there for your Husband. I don't know for sure but I imagine these trucks in good shape are pretty highly valued on the Island.

that truck would sell for ~$10.5-12.5k in the PNW. i'm unsure of what your local market looks like...
