Unhappy Tail light wiring help help

I bought new tail lights for my prerunner. Cause someone cut them out of my truck. I called Avondale Toyota in Arizona. And they told me that there was no connector off the wiring harness. But my new lights came with a six pin connector? Does anyone know what the part number is or can direct me in the right direction?

So you need the female connector from the wiring harness? Try this website: http://www.villagetoyotaparts.com/ and you can look up Toyota parts by year. I found PN 90980-10173 for 1995 Tacoma 2.4L manual tranny. $7.88.

Buy any chance do you know the part number for the wires and go inside than connect, I called the dealer today and they want 8 bucks for each wire, and I need 10 I'm really tring not to spend 80 bucks for 10 wires. So I can try to look online for them
Thanks

I would either go down to the junkyard and cut the connector needed off a wrecked truck, or go to NAPA and buy a couple of trailer light plugs. Looks like you have only five wires in that plug? They make a 5 pin "flat" trailer connector. Buy a couple of those and a handful of splice connectors. Tape up the splices real well and call it good. It will be a heck of a lot less than 80 bucks.

The dealership can give you the Toyota part numbers over the phone even if you don't buy it there. You should be able to crimp new female spades on your existing wiring and put them in the new connector. Not sure why you need new wiring.

Bring the tail light with you to radio shack and just buy the blade connectors if the wire still reaches. Then once connected fill the voids with hot glue gun. "Budget" best would be the junkyard
