I know you can use the adjustable height Bilstein 5100 to lift the front of a 99 Tacoma. Does the rear also use shocks or would I have to use an add a leaf to lift the rear and make the truck level?

Anyone done Bilstein 5100s in the front, what did you do to make the rear level out?

Also, where is the cheapest place to purchase the shocks online?

The rear uses shocks as well, but it is a different suspension set-up from the front. You will need to add a leaf to the springs, or use some kind of block lifting kit for the rear.

I've got the steins up front. I went to top gun custom ended finding 'em on wheelers off road for less. just e-mail 'em and they'll cut u a deal usually. stay away from blocks!!! go aal's , exteneded length shaclkes or whole new leaf pack.
