Changed clutch, now no 4wd

    Hi,
    I changed my clutch last weekend, no problems there. But now it has snowed, and I've got no 4wd. The shifter feels normal, the front driveshaft spins, but nothing going on at the front wheels.

    '98 tacoma/ v6

    Any ideas? The light doesn't come on in the cluster, either.

    did you leave the plug from the transfer case unplugged? this tells the computer you engaged the transfer case and then it engages the front differential.

    Apparently, while wrestling with the transmission to put it back in, I had broken one of the wires to the transfer switch. It's working now. Thanks for the ideas on what to look for.
