Talking CIPA 36500 Auto Dimming Mirror / Scangauge Blendmount install

Finally had time off this week to install a Cipa 36500 Rear Auto Dimming Mirror with a Blendmount that holds my scangauge. The Cipa Mirror is an amazing unit that has two bottom LEDs that have direct focus downwards towards the driver side and passenger side cabin via soft buttons without making the entire cabin freakin glow like the entire world can see you at night -it's what the OEM factory map lights do that are above seen in the picture-. The Cipa also has the standard digital compass and tracks outside temperature. The mirror is small enough that the sun visors clear (it helps that it has a lower placement for the scangauge) and the blendmount helps hide the wires for a perfect install. A huge plus is that the entire unit with scangauge blocks the center from sun glare. Love it!

The most stressful part was adding a strong epoxy to the button/windshield and aligning the mirror so that the sun visors cleared when used on both driver and passenger sides. The most annoying part was waiting for the epoxy to cure (5+ hours) before installing the mirror to the button, anxiety that it fit was killing me. I plan to hook the wiring up over the weekend so it will be all lit up with compass and outside temp.
