do you have the I4 or v6 engine?
on the first gen's you could get a 4 cyl TRD, but it didn't have the locker.
that's what i was told anyway.

shit you're right. I remember a while back a dude bought a reg cab 4 cyl that was like a 1997, and it was a TRD....it pretty much just had TRD suspension, and thats it. IIRC....

I wish toyota would have been more consistent with this shit in the early years.

TRD came with off road suspension and the skid plates. I have no TRD stickers, but I have the TRD package. It has a 3.4 liter automatic tranny. And I know where the RR locker button is supposed to be, it's not there.

After doing some research, Im not sure what I have. I have the skid plates and Bilstein suspension, but I have no e-locker. It appears TRD also came with 31's and my truck is supposed to have 225/75r15s. Do I not have the TRD? And if so why would the toyota dealership maintence writeup say they changed the limited slip diff fluid? That is why i thought i had a limited slip to begin with

the previous owner may have slapped on the TRD decals to look cool, and added a LSD.

my cousin added a LSD to his sr5 and it make a good bit of difference.

See, I have the Bilstein suspension, but no e-locker, which was apparently supposed to come with the TRD.
