Hey tw I was wondering how much tinting would cost for all for windows as the back windows and a strip across the windshield. I'm thinking 25% or 30% on the front and 10% all in the back.

Prices vary greatly from shop to shop and region to region. Have you called local tint shops?

They should also be able to advise you on the legality of tints in your area.

Right here. Make a few calls to some places that tint around your town. I'd take a wild stab at ~$300 for all windows depending on brand tint. Also, might want to toss a tip in there.

I had my front's tinted to match my rear windows as best as possible. The place I went the guys were really cool and professional. They let me head out back in their shop while they worked and we just chatted and joked. They were tinting and paint protecting 2 vehicles that were double/triple the costs of my truck but put me in front. Some guy waiting had a saweeeet new optioned out AMG Mercedes with other items. You would have thought a pro baller owned it but he was some old grey haired foggie. Not the run of the mill Mercedes here, I mean, I'm not expert on them, but it was very likely $100K plus.

Anyway, dudes charged me $80 for driver/passenger window. They had to hand cut my tint as their laser cutting machine did not have my window design in it yet. System was not updated or whatever, but they did a stellar job. I tossed in a solid tip and told them I would recommend them, which I do.

Mine was 60 just for the front 2 windows, for everything you're looking for I'd say 150 to 200? At least that's what it would be around here, not sure about there.

Depends on quality of film and whether you have it done at a shop or on the side. I tint for a living. In our shop it's 209-239 lifetime warranty. On the side 80 no warranty
. Also, the AS1 line is only about two inches down on the windshield so the eyebrow is pointless.

20% tint, extang trifecta tonneau cover.
I just got my tint done a week ago from a shop. They charged me $110 for the two fronts at 20% to match the rest of the truck. I thought that was a bit pricey but, it was lest than $150.00, which was the price another shop wanted to charge me.

I paid $75 dollars about 3 weeks ago for driver and passenger windows. This included stripping the original tint. Tint is solar gard at 20%. I felt no need to tint the x-cab or back windows as they match the 20% tint in the front perfectly.

Tint varies based on quality as well. Yes, it's a truck so you prob won't care as much, but like everything else, you can get crappy tint and good tint. If you have good stuff, it will last forever...bad stuff will discolor and peel.

I have FormulaOne Pinnacle...cost $400 for all four windows, but it is worth it. If you're getting tint based on heat reduction, check into different tints that shops use, some brands reflect more heat than others. Mine for example can be in the Florida sun for hours and the interior is still cool when I get in. Just something to think about and judge for your situation...

Decent shop with warranty should run you around $150 depending on location.

Seen you were asking about tint on your tacoma. I went with 35% on my windshield with 10 inch brow, and %5 perfect over factory all around! I think dark windows bring out a truck, but if you were wondering I paid $200 for all of it. Not to bad to me, felt it was a really good price! Here's some pictures if you'd like to take a look.

$120 for 20% front windows, Limo dark for back windows and rear window w/ sliding. Extra $10 for taking off old tint on front 2 windows. Lifetime warranty and high quality tint.

    $140 after taxes.

I would recommend finding a small shop because they usually do a great job for a cheaper price. Plus you gotta shop around and go by what you've heard from others regarding a particular shop.

I'm getting mine done tomorrow by the guy whose shop is next door to where I work.
This will be the fifth one he's done. On my last Mustang I went elsewhere because my normal guy wouldn't go past legal(although he'll go as low as 5% on front and back) and had to take it back twice, it still wasn't right. I ended up having to pay my normal guy to fix it.
I will go 10% back, 20% sides, 10% front( I usually do 5% front and back) I assume he'll charge me $85 because that's what he charged me for a Ranger and Nissan regular cabs. Although this one has sliding back glass.
Only thing is when you get the "long time friend price" is I have to wait til he's got nothing else to do which is usually a while which sucks because I have a new truck that desperately needs it.

Down here in Florida its almost mandatory.

When I picked up Betty I left the windows clear only long enough for the wife to snag a Groupon or something for a shop locally. Nice 3M tint, excellent work. Just just a hair over legal with limo tint on the back and passenger, 25 on driver, and the windshield strip with a lifetime warranty for $149.

Localish chain called TintAmerica. They did nice work, and let me in the shop to observe. Cool proprieters.
