A Flip out (Single Den) would work, but look into getting a Double Den. Im going to get a Double Den CD,DVD, Radio,Ipod etc etc .... A double den doesnt "flip out" its a screen just like a tv.

I have a fold out I just need to install it. Hopefully I will have a picture by the end of the week. The thing you need to keep in mind with a fold out is all your heater controls and whatnot make sure there is enough clearance

Dont buy the pioneer!! Its over priced and still quite buggy. Also the GPS is awful with few POI's and a terrible looking display. My Kenwood came w/ Garmin which IMO is worth it alone. Here is some good info on double din units. http://www.avic411.com/forum/

Also, try to stay away from the units w/ mechanical screens that retract. More mechanical parts usually just means more problems.

/ bought the kenwood 7120 year ago and love it
// easy DVD bypass as well

The Pioneer units are fine. We sell two or three a week, between the F90 and the F700. I have the F90, and have no problems. When they were first released there were software problems, the 2.0 update seems to have fixed those problems. I do like the kenwoods as well. We don't sell as many of those, but i would buy either brand. I just get the Pioneer cheaper. Hope that helps. oh yeah don't recommend Alpine unless you just like Alpine. Overpriced, and less functionality.

you can also hack the pioneer and change the nav software. If you are a computer freak you can upload Tom Tom garmin and probably others via the sd card. I'm not that smart i just so i just run what ive got. All that info is on the avic411 website.

Just have to add a two way alarm to that sell. One advantage to our trucks is that its not that easy to break and run. You have to remove lots of truck to get the units out. (installed properly). All those fords chevy, and hondas parked next to you will get hit first.
