    is the transmission of a 4 runners 3.4L will fit in a tacoma 3.4L ?

    yep they are the same. Might be an few plugs that are extra or something. But they are the same.

    Yes I am running a 99 4Runner trans in my 02 Tacoma. The only thing i had to swap was the neutral safety switch from my Tacoma trans.
