When I first start my tacoma to drive it it's like it has no power. I drive it down the road and it acts like it doesn't wanna go and if you press the gas pedal to much it backfires. After about a minute of driving it is fine. Anyone no what I should do? or just leave it alone? Suggestions please!

Backfiring can fry the catalytic converter. Try changing the plugs and distributor cap and rotor.
