i took my toyota to Performance toyota of la vista in omaha nebraska area for a over drive light flashing issue.... they could not figure it out. they did not charge me for their services becuase they could not tell me what was wrong with it.

i then took my truck to Old mill toyota of omaha, where they can not get the problem to duplicate and have not given me a salution to the problem to fix my issue. they are trying to charge me DIAG Time for not being able to find the problem.

i work in the car business and i know this would piss off anyone that it happened to. what do you think my coarse of action should be?

If it were me, I'd start with the service manager. If he or she can't help move up the line. Definitely not something I would accept.

So Old Mill Toyota couldn't duplicate the issue, but took the time to look at it at your request? If they cannot experience the problem, how can they identify a solution? why wouldn't they charge you for the time that they took?

I am not trying to be a hardass, but if you work in the car business, you know that this is the way it works. If anything, I would be more pissed at Performance Toyota being able to actually duplicate the issue, but sending you on your way without identifying the issue.

If it's not able to replicate atleast at the last two dealerships I work at we can't charge you. I understand your outlook and response.
