I just put in this new blue led for my interior dome and it works when the switch is on the on and off spot but when it's in the door spot it stays on even when the doors are closed. What is the problem?!

did you ever get a solution to this?

I have the same problem. Stays on ever so faintly when doors closed and switch in door position.

I had a similar issue with mine that I got fixed last week. I wound up soldering (first time using a soldering iron btw) two 100ohm resistors to both sides of the bulb. This fixed my issues. However, I haven't ventured into swapping out the map light bulbs for LEDs yet, so hopefully I won't encounter any serious problems with that.
    Hope this helps.
