will these tires rub my upper C arms

hey guys havent been on here in a while. i finally went ahead and ordered all new shocks since they were all shot. At this point i decided to do my first lift on my 97 tacoma. 3 inch sus lift up front(blocks over the coils) and a 2 inch body lift in the rear with the diff drop. Now i need new tires as well since the special people at costco overfilled my rear that they both wore in just the middle, should have checked them though.

my problem is the tire width, ive decided to go with 31s or close to 31s. the most common size is 10.5 inch wide tires and the max supposedly you can fit with the stock wheels is 10.4.

can anyone confirm this? will the 10.5s hit or should i try and find smaller width tires like 9.5s?

what size would e the closest using metric size? according to one converter its 265 x70xr15 that being 10inch width.

What size rim and whats the backspacing for them ?

 

ill have to measure for sure but i believe they have 4 inch backspace on the stock wheels.

also they are 6 inch wide wheels i believe as well so im not sure 10.5swould even be possible

 

A what lift?

 

front suspension lift, rear body/block lift and acdifferential drop. i really dont want to to get new wheels so i may just have to get some 1.5inch spacers with less wide tires

Stock wheels are 4.5" back spacing.

So a 10.5" tire will be fine with 4" back spacing.

However not sure it's a good idea to run a 10.5 on a 6" wide rim..

 

thankyou for that. i believe they are 6 inch wide wheels but i could be wrong. im going to try and find some 9.5or somethingnear by and get them mounted once my shocks come in

 

7'' will be fine as well. 7-8 i believe is recommended.

kind of off topic but I'm having trouble with my front over coil lift. my lower a arms will not flex far enough down to get the struts with the kift even close to being bolted in. I took the sway bar off and it didn't help much. I'm not sure what really holding it back the front axle or the steering assembly? I'm thinking I should try again with the diff drop in place but it won't help that much for the 3 inch spacers I'm adding. Not sure where to go from here.
