I have a 2003 double cab with the 3.4L V6. My shocks are near gone any my leafs sit flat. I am getting a brand new leaf kit from a local shop with an extra leaf added to the pack. This should give me 2" or so in the rear. I am getting Bilstein 5100's for the front and plan on setting them to 2.5". My question is should I get new coils for the front? And if I got new coils, would Bilstein 5125's make sense for the rear? I don't off-road heavily but would appreciate having the capability. Does this lift/replacement combination of parts make sense? Any input is much appreciated.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
    Eibach or OME coils.

This. IMO 5100's will suffice for the rear too... Do a search for eibach/bilstein lifts and OME kits. All info you will need is here.

No difference from 5100 and 5125s rear shocks other then 5125s come in more lengths. Wait till you get your new packs and measure them flexed out to get the right length shocks.

If indeed your new packs are just 2". I'd go for OME 881 front coils. Make sure if you get any aftermarket lift coil to set the 5100s at 0" to not precompress them too much

So if I go for just the aal and coils for the lift, should I bother with the 5100 adjustable or go for a cheaper shock altogether if I'm not going to use them for lift at all? Any negatives to the aal and billy lift with just using factory coils? Either way I'm looking at a 2-3" lift max. Is there anything else I need to buy for this other than shocks/coils/leafs? The new leafs include all mounting hardware/bolts/brackets.

Aren't you getting all new leafs?? I wouldn't go with just an AAL in the stock wore out leafs. Just a bandaid

5100s are fine for shocks. I wouldn't go cheaper. they are already very affordable.

Ride won't be as nice if you use the stock coils and set the billys at 2.5''
