well here it is im a little lost.my situation is this. i have a bone stock 2001 tacoma trd access cab. it has 120k miles so i need to replace my shocks all the way around. i plan on running a 33 inch tire so heres my questions

    what is the best combo

bilstein 5100 with my stock trd spring and 3" spacers

    or

Ome medium springs with bilsteing 5100

or any other options??? dont have the cash for coilovers right now so lets not open up that can of worms

can i get away with the procomp rear shocks?

what is the cheapest route for the front end?

jsut keep in mind i have to buy shocks all the way around no matter what

for the rear should i get aal or shackles??

I just used a 3" coil spacer and used my stock shocks ... rides fine.

Go with the OME set up, coils and shocks. And then I'de do an AAL and OME shocks in the back. Just my 2c.

Or you could do the Bilsteins all the way around, and get the OME coil...

I just got done putting in my coilovers, I had a spacer before and it sucked!! My coilovers are soo nice, love the ride!

just replace the stock shocks then and add the coil spacer OR say fuck it, spend a 1000 on coilovers. :)

Having had both, IMO the ($1000+) coilovers are over rated. I had all sorts of problems with them and the ride was terrible. I returned them and went with ($100) 3" spacers, combined with stock coilovers they work fine for me. Could have been a one-time-coicidence, but thought I'd add my experience...
