Mirror question, are both of mine broken?

    my mirrors (on the doors) both passenger and driver have no "stop" position. they fold fully in and out. i have never seen a mirror that didn't have a lock position and then you adjust from there for driver.

    so do these mirrors really have no stop point or are both of mine broken?

    really basic question, but i have just 1 truck and haven't found another person's vehicle to go tamper with haha.

    wow, that is really annoying. my mirrors are constantly out of adjustment.

    people walking through my garage or whatever bump them. thanks for the clarification though. i was gonna order new ones.

    I think you can adjust the tension on that ball joint hinge thing.

    Should be a torx screw underneath.

    mine will articulate all the way forward and back but somewhere in the middle it pops into a locked position. yours is possibly just too loose

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
    If they are moving a lot. Just re tighten the joint

    Here is the main bolt

    Have to take off the cover which is pretty simple just one screw(ignore the hole I drilled, for something else)
