Could I still have axel wrap with new leaf springs?

I just replaced my leaf springs with wheelers 4 leaf set, and also put a new set of bilstein 5100 shocks with intent to fix my wrapping axel. My truck feels a lot smoother, but if I accelerate a little faster than your average grandmother I still get a popping noise. I can only make it pop when i accelerate from a complete stop. Should my new leafs have fixed this problem, and the noise is coming from somewhere else? Or is it possible that my axel is still wrapping? Another revelant thing about my truck is when I shift into reverse it will sometimes dip down a noticeable amount, dose that sound like a possible contrubiting factor to my dreaded popping noise or is that just a whole new problem?

Will the carrier cause a thud while stopped?

I thought it was a vibe at speed that it caused.......I have thrown on 2 diff types of cb drops.....they caused vibes (low speed takeoff). Turns out I didn't need a cb drop, even tho many suggested getting 1 with my lift.....all it did was cause problems.
When it was removed, I had no vibes.

Axle wrap is just something that happens with leaf-sprung suspension systems.
Yes, check all of the above components to make sure you don't have something else getting ready to fail, but axle wrap is unavoidable unless you are running a 3 or 4 link, or at least a stabilizing link from the top of the diff (which will be better for offroad articulation than a 3/4 link).

Dose this mean I can conclude that the popping/clunking noise is coming from my rear axel and something like Dynachrome Leaf Spring Helpers would cure it? How can I tell if I have a bad U joint? and if any one saw the video I linked is 1/8"-1/4" of play in the drive line normal?
