    but he also said it squeals when he brakes...:confused:

    5100 Bilistens set @ 1" in front, Wheelers 5 leaf in rear, Leer Topper, TRD Skid Plate, Dual Band Ham Radio
    Hopefully what ever it turns out to be will be a cheap/easy fix.
    Think I paid 20$ for the set which was a lot better than having to replace a ball joint or somthing, which I wasn't looking toward to.

    It's the steering rack. Front brakes at 25% as well. About $1,500 to do all of it. Should be fixed by tomorrow. I'm not about to attempt a steering rack and since I'm paying the shop to do the rack, they can do the brakes while they're at it as well.

    OUCH !!


    Yeah the rack is pretty pricy by itself, its not as bad to R&R as I thought but at least now you know....;)

    Yeah, but given the stoutness of the engine/drivetrain in these trucks, I'm okay with sinking in some coin now and again! Still beats a monthly payment on a new truck (that I would find too big for my needs anyways).

    It's amazing how much better a new steering rack feels compared to the old one!
