Silicone sealant for deckplate mod

I was going to do the deckplate mod so I picked up some sensor safe blue rtv silicone gasket maker and was just making sure if I use this to seal the deckplate to the air box it won't cause the check engine light to go on or how long I have to wait before I put it back in
Thanks

That's what I used as well. No problems for me and I didn't let it sit for too long, probably 30 minutes
