    Hello,

I got a 96 Toyota Tacoma sr5 v6 4x4. The problem is the wiper does not work. I tested the water and it came out to the windshield, but the wiper does not wash the windshield. I checked all of the fuses and everyone is fine. I doubt that the problem might be the wiper switch because the water comes out fine.

I went to buy a used wiper motor and a wiper switch from the junk yard. First, I tried to replace the wiper motor and I already got the four bolts which holds the wiper motor to the firewall but I could not get it out because the pin at the back of the wiper motor connect to the somewhere inside the firewall. How can I take it out? Please give me an idea if you know. Also how to replace the wiper switch too.

    Thanks.

    Just follow the steps below:

    Removing:
    1. Remove your wiper arms both side.
    2. Try to slowly pull the pump out.
    3. Use a little/medium flat screwdriver to push the rubber which cover/connects to the pin of the pump off. That is!!

Note: Installing the new pump is just reversing the steps above only.
