Hi all. I've used the resources on this site quite a bit in the past but I have so far been able to get by with what is already documented. Until now.

So I went to check my oil this morning, and when I closed the hood I heard something falling through what seemed to be in front of the radiator. This bolt dropped onto the ground. Any idea what it is? The head of the bolt isn't attached to the stud and it can rotate, so I'm assuming it is used as some sort of stud attachment? There is no rubber on the bolt and the flat portion of the head is hard.

EDIT: Well the similar thread function worked better than the search! Mods feel free to delete!

It's from the front vertical support in front of the radiator. Pop the plastic piece off of the front of the bolt and it'll go back in.

Same thing happened to mine, and it landed in my front bumper.

It's the same piece that has to be modified to fit the BAMF light mounting bar, too.

edit: looks like you found it with searching. nice!
