And before you squak about the character of discharge, I dont have that copy online at the moment, but this should suffice to shut you up (it was honorable):

Now c'mon bugger. What kinda naughtiness did you do so that you were only an E-4 when you got discharged? Did your temper get you in trouble?

My apologies for the thread hijack and allowing myself to get baited by an insufferable troll.

For the record, Im taking my DD214 off this thread. Even though it is scrubbed for PII, there is still enough data on there to identify me personally if someone wanted to bad enough and that creeps me out.

If anyone cares, my DD214 shows:

    my primary MOS: 0311
    my deployment to OIF I
    my CAR award
    rifle expert award
    machine gun leader's course graduation

Good. I was going to suggest you take it down in the background. In all seriousness, never a good idea to put one of those up.

Sorry, I won't discuss how/why/when I carry in my truck. But for the record, it is legal. It is possible to get a ccw in CA regardless to contrary belief. Its dam near impossible and very hard to do, but certain counties will still issue with a justifiable good cause. There are also exposed permits available for certain jobs, like security, armored transport, repo agent, and more.

Thats exactly why they need to train...they arent perfect. In the case of the bullet riddled tacoma, the paranoid pyschopaths shot up a mother and her daughter just because they happened to drive the same truck as the rogue cop they were looking for. One man had these idiots shooting at shadows, and they dont need to train?

I love it when people apologize like this: "I'm so sorry that the other guy made me do it."

Really? Just take responsibility and let the other person take theirs.

It's possible, but about as likely as getting a bj from Jennifer Lawrence unless you're LEO. The only reason I ask was because you mentioned in this thread that you weren't LEO. But you open your mouth plenty in damn near every post you've put on this site to imply that you're LEO. Not a uniformed officer but definitely no Joe Schmoe who somehow weaseled his way into a CCW permit.

It was more of a rhetorical comment as there are no .22 pistols that take a 30 rnd magazine. How about a glock with 18. That better for you? The use of the term "banana clip" was used to accommodate those who also believe that a .44 would "take someones arm off" You carry your hand cannon, I'll carry something with a bit more capacity. Maybe I should have been more specific and not a smart ass....great call on that. I hope you can hit with that first shot cause buddy, I do know what I'm talking about. When the shit hits the fan there guy, nobody gives a shit how big the bore of your barrel is.
