Anyone have any recent experience with these? My skid is looking grim as hell:



And these look pretty cool, but that post is from 2010 and Google doesn't bring up much in the way of recent installs/orders.

I just simply plated and repainted mine. I did some research on the skids and this is what most people do. There were very few people that built them from scratch and I never came across anyone with those either.

Yep, pretty much everyone I know just plates over the stock skid. Works good enough.
