Just wondering, does my '03 have a transmission filter? If so, how often should it be changed?
    Thanks guys!:D

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Automatics have trans filters. Manuals don't. The service intervals should be in your manual. I would say it is in the 75k-90k mile range but don't quote me on that.

Thanks for the info. I've got 65,000 original miles on it now, so I guess it might be time to replace it....

There is no filter. Its a screen. Clean it and reinstall it. I havent touched mine but for safe measure i installed a magnafine filter in the cooler line. I replace that every 30K.

Yes, they do.But its a metal screen type, not meant to be replaced often. just needs to be cleaned out. I just did mine at 80K, had nothing to speak of, just a fine film.
