New clutch time. What are my options?

So I have an 01 3.4 trd offroad. After 104,000 miles it is time for a new clutch but I don't know what to buy or where to buy it from. Any tips?? I don't want to spend a ton of money but also don't want something that wont stand up to the abuse that I know I will heap upon it.

I'm installing a new clutch in my truck this weekend. After checking here and the local auto parts store, I went with the marlin kit since its 300 just like the auto parts stores .

I got the TG 1,600 Clutch for $280 iirc from east coast gear supply.. Its basically a marlin just a little stronger hold but my pedal also feels softer but when you engage gear the first time you will know whats up! Ive had mine for around 3 montsh and maybe 1,000 miles since ive been on the road working, but no complaints so far!

Thanks for all the info! Ordered the Marlin and I'm putting it in in a week or two. Any tips for the instal or is it pretty straight forward.I've only done one clutch before and nmot a Toyota but. It seems easy

Pretty easy, I used like 4 tools total, nothing to it. Only real advice other than the straight forward stuff is to get the top bellhousing bolt from inside the cab where the shifters are

I had to borrow a few tools for the install on my 2000 taco. I didn't have a blind finger bearing puller for the pilot bearing. I also had to get a 10mm flare nut wrench for the hard line going into the slave cylinder. And I borrowed two one foot extensions (3/8) drive so I could remove the upper bell housing bolts. It really is an easy install.

I used a bolt and packed grease inside of the pilot bearing then beat the bolt in and the grease forced it out.. Can also use paper towels.. As for the slave cylinder I just unbolted the 2 12mm bolts that held it in place and left it there, no need to unhook Hard line.. But yes very easy & I did it in 4 hours pretty much by myself other than aligning it on both sides all off the ground, no post lift or anything. Also OP if you have air tools we them! Especially for the driveshaft bolts with a 14mm wrench and for the crossmember and I also used it on some of the bell housing bolts.. 3/8 impact that is but I hand tightened everything once it was back together
