Hey everyone, I was messing around one day with my climate controls to change a light or something and i took the A/C knob off (fan speed) and I lost the little metal clip inside the knob that holds it on the panel, so now the knob just falls off. Does anyone know where I can find the little clip? Thank you!

My only option was to order a new one from toyota. believe i paid seven dollars. After it came in i found the one that fell out off my knob a week later.

I lost one of mine too, I ended up just filling the void with rubber cement. It has held fine for about a year now, the only downside is it's probably a single use thing and if I ever have to pull the knob off again the cement would need to be reapplied

I might have to try that. Problem is I completely broke it in half... maybe someone sells some kool "chrome" ones or something. Looks are not important but it would be nice to adjust fan speed :)

Was a PreRunner, now it isn't
i just took some electrical tape and made up the difference with that. It is snug enough and i can remove it and redo it when i need to take the dash apart
