I just bought a 2013 Tacoma V6 Double Cab and the dealer gave me $500 in parts and service to accessorize it and I am not sure how I should use it. I would like to do something that would give it a little more horsepower but not sure where that would be well spent. I thought about the TRD exhaust but I am not looking for sound as much as the added power. Also, from what I can tell they no longer do the cold air intakes for the 2013 models??!!
    Any suggestions tips are appericated.

$500 could buy a shit load of oil filters, since that about the only OEM thing i buy from stealerships anymore.

How about a bed extender and roof rack? And they have a cold air intake for the 2013s

    Waiting for the supercharger.
And does the cold air intake increase the hp very much? And any ideas on cost?

The air filter isn't gonna use my $500 bucks up lol.
    Maybe both?
I would like to say I know a lot about this but I am just learning.

I would see if you could convert it to a $500 service voucher for the future.

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
maybe bed mat, bed extender. Thats about the only OEM stuff i like a lot. But even those you can find other ways to do them that are not oem. Like i did for my bed mat.

also could get a bunch of oil filters and stuff.

Bed mat is one of the most useful purchases i've made for my truck. These beds are slippery and things always went flying without it. Exhaust and the trd air filter get my next votes.

Edit: lol who negative repped me?

Bed matt is definitely useful. I just got the TRD catback exhaust. Not really helpful with more power, but it looks and sounds great.

accessorize? it's not a teenage girl's binder, it's a truck. 500 at the dealership? that's probably not going to cover much.

    add money. supercharge. live.

NO need to be a smart ass. If you dont have anything positive to put forward keep it to yourself.

The cold air intake will honestly not do much for you. The money is better spent elsewhere. The best thing performance-wise that can be had sub $500 would be headers but they are not available at a dealer. The intake at a dealer will cost you like $450. If you want a little different sound then the TRD Catback might be right up your alley. Take into account that nothing will give you a big increase outside of boost.

I'm telling you, this is the best thing to do with the $500. Otherwise there's not much from dealership that's worth purchasing. You'll see what I mean when you go in for your first brake job.
