grizzly lake was an awesome trail with good obstacles and can be paired with a ton of other good trails in the area. the fishing was excellent as well.

both mines were visible from the road and not to hard to access, if you ever make your way into the tincup/hankock pass area their are countless old mines to go and explore. some I have went into at least a quarter mile or more. another good area to go if your wanting to explore old mines is Ouray Colorado.

My buddy Tony Smith lives in Gunnison. Have wheeled there a couple times with him. Up on Cottonwood pass early in the season, block by snow before the top. He has a cabin, ugh, can't remember the name, up above Crested Butte. I miss those mountains, such a great play ground. Lived in Co for 20 yrs, Boulder area. Man I miss those mountains. Great pics, thanks for sharing.

No, it's an area, just killer trails, some way old cabins. I'll get in touch with him and reply. I may be way off in where it actually was. Man I miss those mountains.

I'm lovin' the greenery and streams! It's a tough bet to find something like that around LA; lots of dust, rocks, and desert if you like that kind of thing though.

Keep up the awesome pics. It makes me want to get out and go!
