Read diff not locking

So my rear diff isnt locking when i turn it on.. but it will still go in 4x4.. I was reading online and im thinking its the Electric Locker.. If someone has a idea that could help me that would be great... or where i can get one that would be awesome!

If you want to lock it while in 2Hi, do the grey wire mod.

Basically, cut a wire and ground it.

What? the grey wire mod makes it like a prerunner, so you can use the locker in 2wd using the factory switch

Another thing to remember with the electric locker, is that its electric so don't use it when in water, like a water crossing. Otherwise you run the risk of frying it and getting to replace it.
