Its an 03 dbl cab trd with 150,100k, i am the second owner. I currently have changed the oil, changed the transmission fluid and filter and then the transmission fluid again because it was pretty dirty. it now has 150,300. The previous owner did the timing belt and the water pump right at 100k. What else do you guys recommend? Thanks for you help!

    I have the 3.4

also when changing the fuel filter do you have to depressurize the fuel lines/tank or is it as simple as taking the old one off and putting the new one on?

When I changed my fuel filter I followed the walkthrough to depressurize the system:

Undo cap, remove circuit relay from behind dash, start truck and let it die. (or something to that effect)

And when I went to change the fuel filter, gasoline was spraying all over to the place due to pressure. So I tightened it back up.

What I ended up doing is driving it around until the fuel tank was about 1/4 full (ie almost empty). Then merely removed the gas cap. When I went to change the fuel filter, I got just a couple of drips of gasoline and that's all.

And yes, simple remove and replace.

Get a line wrench for the compression nuts on the fuel line. Will ensure you don't strip them:

It seems to be a pain for me to get photos to upload on here too
If you have (or start) a photobucket account, the easiest way I've found is to just right-click the photo > hit "copy" > and then paste it (ctl+v) into your post

changed the diff oil today both front and rear and the fuel filter. I discovered that the driver side e brake cable is froze up.Tomorrow i am going to work on freeing that, getting the spare tire mount recall checked and explore new wheel options.

I also noticed that the transmission and 4 wheel drive shifter moves a lot during driving, does anyone else have this or noticed this? Is this typical or a good indicator of something?

Just upload the photos from your computer to your pics here. Then copy the link and paste it. I do it with two windows open, its a little easier.
