Are you asking about my rebuilt seats? If so, they cost a little over $600, with the pockets in the back.

85 4Runner SR5 style seats...we used to have one as a crawler. My dad had back surgery and believe it or not, even though it was a bumpier ride, he said those were the only seats that were comfortable. I'm sure you can find them in pickups in the same body style age range as well.

I broke my back (compression fractures & etc.) in the military and it bothers me more now.

Good, firm seats and an adjustable lumbar support (small airline type pillow & a seat cushion from COSTCO helps a lot) ... :)

My '84 SR5 4runner crawler had those, as well. Best seats I've ever experienced in any vehicle. Fit me like a glove. Even had adjustable lumbar support!

    Miss that truck :(

FYI it's worth, the 2005 Subaru Forester XT seats are very much on the firm side (which is why I'm going to add memory foam in strategic places), has lumbar support adjustment and the sides of them really hold you in well.

I finished the seat swap awhile ago, but just finally got it written up. It's a GREAT improvement over the stock 60/40 garbage they called a seat. And without the 60 seat or center console, I can reach very easily into the back (and slap anyone trying to talk over my stereo). It was a lot of work to do, but worth it. Definitely would have helped to have my own shop and welder. Without those its a toss up between doing this mod and hunting around for some used aftermarket seats. Anyway, here's my writeup:

I know im a bit late but I'll throw in my two cents. I went with 2nd gen 4runner seats. Great balance of comfort and support. Lots of adjustments, and lumbar :D Plus they keep in my theme of a clean factory look with identical colors. They didn't require too much work to get them in but some custome work is needed
