Will a second gen hitch fit a 1st gen frame?

I got a second gen toe hitch for sale that no second gen guys are biting on but a few people have asked will it fit there first gens. Its a U-haul for the 2nd gen, anyone know if it will bolt up onto the 1st gen frame? Im assuming no but just want to make sure.
