Will a second gen hitch fit a 1st gen frame?

I got a second gen toe hitch for sale that no second gen guys are biting on but a few people have asked will it fit there first gens. Its a U-haul for the 2nd gen, anyone know if it will bolt up onto the 1st gen frame? Im assuming no but just want to make sure.

That's what I thought. Tired of holding onto it though. Might just tell him 100 bucks and he can find out.

Tell him it wont fit, but if he still wants it for $100 then go for it. Dont tell him it "might" fit
