question on leaf springs

    hey guys i was wondering if the 2nd gen leaf springs and the coil springs would fit on my 1999 yota?

    Leaf springs no, coil springs I've heard they fit and give 1.5 inches of lift. But I have no experience with it. Might wanna do some searching to see if people have done it

    are the leaf springs longer or what? and yeah i dont know anyone that has so i figured my best bet was on here to find out

    2nd gen have centered "centering pins" where 1st gens have offest "centering pins", or vice versa.

    2nd Gen leaf springs are junk, you wouldn't want them on your 1st Gen even if they did fit.

    i know im just trying to go the cheap way of getting new leaf spring for now since my leaf springs are :( right now would be getting new leaf springs be better or just getting an add a leaf?

    I don't, sorry. I believe they would because OME 883 coils work on both 1st and 2nd Gens so there has to be some level of overlap but I'm not familiar enough with 1st Gens to say they definitely will or won't fit.
