Lift kit question

I'm looking to put 17" pro comp series 7031 rims with 285/70/17 nitto trail grapplers on my 04 taco. I was wondering what size lift and what kind of lift I would need. Don't want any rubbing. Possibly willing to do minor trimming. Also what is the best kit out there for my money?

 

If it were i, i would stick with 16's instead of 17's. there is no cheap lift other than blocks and spacers. And even 3" lift wont clear 285's without minor trimming i dont think. Anything more than 3" is gonna be drop bracket lift which is big money. Lot of people here like the old man emu lifts and bilstein 5100's up front and new leaf packs in the rear.
