285/60/18 on a 2002 Prerunner?

Hi, I have a 2002 Prerunner ext cab with 18" TRD BBS wheels, currently running 275/55/18 Michelin Cross Terrain. Looking at the clearances in my wheel well, it looks like I have about an inch left in all tight spots (at full turn toward the frame, the back side of the well right above the mud flap, and between the tire and top control arm). It certainly looks like I can get bit bigger tire, but I would like to have your opinion. I am looking at the Michelin Latitude HP 285/60/18. Michelin specs show my current tire at 29.88 inch and the 285/60/18 at 31.48 inch. Do you think that they will fit without rubbing?
Appreciate your help.

i think heightwise you'll be fine...but you may experience some rubbing on the upper control arm with a tire of the 285 width

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Without a lift, your going to rub your fenders when turning.

I just installed my new tires - Michelin Latitude Tour HP 285/60/18 and they fit without rubbing. The tire is only .8 inch taller than the stock 265/70/16 BFG (661 rotations per mile vs. 686 for stock) and has about 1/2 inch clearance on all tight spots. My initial impression is ... I LOVE my new wheels and tires
