Hello, My truck is reaching 250,000 miles, and I'm wondering what is the best oil for a tacoma engine with this amount of mileage. Runs great, hardly a leak, and want to keep it that way. Anything anybody can tell me about this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A lot of guys on here use Mobil 1, which is what I'm using right now (High Mileage blend). But I've also had good luck with Valvoline 5w30 High Mileage. While using that my truck seemed to leak less oil.

I agree with previous poster. Synthetic is great and I use it...also in the tranny, brake fluid, and power steering fluid.

Having said that, any SAE approved 5w30 oil will be good.
