Just orders the 5100/AAL lift. 15x8 wheels and 33x12.50 tires...
I've been trying think of a good place to store my beer/food cooler when wheeling? Somewhere I can strap it down so it doesn't going flying. I've been thinking about making a small removable metal which would bolt to the bottom of the bed, and then I could place the cooler in that base and ratchet strap it in.

I'd like to see what others are doing? Maybe there is an awesome idea out there that I can steal!

This is the type of cooler I have: images_a4bf9c7fa6c3289766e50d8d2916ef77f5cc1d55.jpg

    Thanks guys!

I use my bed extender. Put in between that and the tailgate and just use a bungee cord. Works for me! lol

I attach one of the handles to a tie down in the rear corner of the bed. It slides a little bit, but it wont go anywhere.

Ratchet straps, so it stays in place and doesn't toss all the cold stuff on the trail when you roll.

I have a cooler I like using when wheeling that fits nicely inside the cab. I stopped putting the cooler in the bed as it was just shaking everything up too much. The cooler fits on the floor behind the back of the passenger seat or between the kids when they are in the truck.

For the trips requiring a big cooler, I use straps and get creative. I always keep it pushed up to the cab because the hoping isn't as bad as by the tailgate.

folded down back seats of the d.c. and strapped thru cooler handles and on the seat latches. Large piece of foam between back wall and cooler as there is a window that doesn't need to be broken.

My sleeping platform has an piece that comes off and the space remaining fits my cooler with a coleman double burner stove or in this pic a water jug next to it perfectly. I also installed extra d - rings in the bed for ratchet strapping scuba tanks down that I can use for the cooler as well. I've actually gone wheeling after diving and the d rings held the tanks just fine so the cooler would be fine too.
