    Howdy,
I'm new here so be easy. I've got a 2004 V6 automatic 4wd trd ext cab that is just about to hit 90,000. I haven't done much in the way of maintenance other than regular oil changes, and cleaning the K&N. Pretty sure the diff fluid was replaced at about 40,000. I'm at about 80% road/ 20% offroad and have only had to lock the rear diff twice (to give ya an idea).
What kind of things should I have checked at this mileage? Are there things that should definitely be replaced or inspected? I am no expert so this is why I'm asking, instead of going to a shop or dealership and have them bend me over for my ignorance. Thanks in advance for the advice!
    Cheers

Oooo. I hope you have roadside. The belt snapping won't hurt your engine but, you'll be left immobilized.

This happened to me in 2009 at about 109,000 miles and if I had to do it over I would of just changed it out at 90,000. The only good thing is I was only going about 30 m.p.h. and was 5 blocks from my mechanic when it happened. Could have been much worse. Replaced the water pump, timing belt and spark plugs then. Changed the fuel filter and had the tranny flushed around then too. Other than that these trucks just need the regular oil and air filter changes plus an occasional fuel injector cleaner in with the gas to stay running well. Hoping to get at least another 100,000 out of my '99.

I changed out all the fluids around then... trans, rear end, (I don't have a transfer case but that too for you) and coolant.

    Along with everything else mentioned
