2003 Taco Bed Extender - Will it Fit a 2014?

I plan on getting a 14 Taco within the next two months. My 03 Taco has a factory bed extender.

Will the 03 bed extender fit the 14?

Does yours expand? I just added a pre 2012 style of extender to my 2012 Tacoma and it will expand and collapse by the telescopic components in the middle of the rack unit itself.

 

I'm not sure, but I'd say there's a strong possibility it WILL fit. The Toyota bed extender I installed is (supposedly) designed to fit a Tacoma or a Tundra. I couldn't understand how that was possible until it arrived and I discovered the width is adjustable. Not sure about the mounting brackets, though...

 

Yes, my Toyota branded bed extender telescopes and will expand/contract. What I don't know is how it mounts. On the 03, it bolted onto an existing thread. I have not seen the 14 or the bracketing for the 14.
