mine started to get touchy about 6 months ago. turn the key, *click*, turn it back and try again and it started. i ended up just replacing the contacts for $8 and it works like a charm.

not sure if you're saying it's completely fried but if not you might try that before you dump $400 dollars into it

well it started doing it about 3 months ago and i took it to the local mechanic and he said it was fried due to poor battery. my heat wasnt working as well but i went on and paid it since im about to sell. she runs good and the heat is running good as well

i took it to local mechanic and the new battery was 123$ and the starter was about 200$ and 90$ for label, took it in this morning and was ready this afternoon. was very pleased
