4runner diff question

    Okay so I have been search for about an hour with no answer.

    I am thinking of buying some diffs and they are out of a 3rd gen 4runner. So the front diff is the same.

    The rear he says is the V6 open 8"..so it's not the elocker..

    Is that the same diff as our open 8.4" but in 4runner land they just call it the 8"??

    Just need to know before I buy them. I'm thinking it's not gonna work though.
