    Hi,
    Does any one know the maximum weight that 1st gen bed rails can support. I'm using a lumber rack and need to put a heavy load on it. Thanks

    well..i have my bed rack/roof rack which is at least 150+lbs..plus ontop of that a RTT..115lbs..and 2 full metal jerry cans..5 gals of water..lots of wire and lights..two ammo boxes and some gear..

    so..alot haha

    that said. It can bow out and can cave if abused.

    but i have had id say a good 700lbs on there an no problems. But thats counting two adults in the tent when parked and all the gear still on the rack. so wasn't moving. Still 3-400lbs while wheeling hard..
